Blued, with two eye disks, adapter plate allows easily installation on Lyman Great Plains rifles. Two mounting screws included. Features 1/4 minute micrometer click adjustments for elevation and windage, quick release slide. The larger 5/8" diameter knurled eye disk is drilled with the smaller .040" aperture for use on bright days. The smaller 1/2" diameter knurled disk is drilled with a larger .093" aperture for large field of view and quick target acquisition on cloudy days. Made in the U.S.A. by Lyman, this sight is a favorite of target shooters. Both large and small eye disks are included (small disk shown). A third choice is to use this sight with no eye disk installed, for quick sighting in dark woods or dark days.
Invest Arms produced Lyman Great Plains rifles made before April 1997 will require drilling and tapping an 8-32 hole. Invest Arms Lyman Great Plains rifles made after April 1997 will have a factory drilled and tapped hole on the tang. The Davide Pedersoli Lyman Great Plains Signature Series rifles introduced in 2020 will accept this sight, the sights do not currently come supplied with screws to secure the base to the Pedersoli produced rifles.
