This powder horn has an attractive curve and would make a nice day horn. The horn has a warm brown to faun patina. The horn is shaped with a paneled tip with a raised strap ring. The horn measures 12-1/4" around the outside curve from the tip to the end of the turned base. The turned mushroom knob adds about 3/4" to the overall length. Small iron nails with a horn band secure the base to the horn. A hand carved wooden stopper is fitted. Add a leather or woven strap and this horn is ready to go!
