This 13-1/2" horn would make a nice day powder horn. The horn is nicely scrimshaw engraved with geometric designs along both ends of the body as well as folk art designs; including acorn, fish, serpent, and dragon. The neck has a raised ring to secure a strap, while the 2-3/4" maple base has a staple fitted. The tip has a hand carved wooden stopper fitted. The woven strap with leather ends has an overall length of 46".
